That’s right! All the sizzle and romance has returned for the 秒 half of Season Five, including the newest character Derrick David – played 由 actor Keith Burke.
In case 你 weren’t paying attention, here’s a quick recap on Derrick:
Introduced early this season, Derrick David (Keith Burke) enters the storyline to fix-up 更多 than just the house Hanna Young (Crystal R. Fox) currently lives in. Both are trying to get back on track after some -- shall we say tragic turns. Fireworks practically exploded between the two and a fun-to-watch romance starting developing. Not so fast, Mom -- seemed to be attitude of her children, Benny (Tyler Lepley) and Candace (Tika Sumpter), who continuing got in the way of their courtship.
As the season went on break, 粉丝 were left wondering will Derrick be able to get Hanna to open up? And, is there 更多 to Derrick than meets the eye – like does he have a secret past with Katheryn Cryer (Renee Lawless)? No spoilers here -- you’ll have to tune in to find out.
When asked about his new role on the series, Keith shared “The audition process was such a whirlwind. After the first read, I was called back the 下一个 日 for a chemistry read with Crystal Fox. A few hours later, I was offered the role and told to be in Atlanta three days later. I must admit, I was a little nervous my first 日 on set but Crystal and Mr. Perry quickly put me at ease. After that, things went smoothly and it really felt like a supportive family environment. I’m beyond grateful.”
Think you’ve seen Keith before? Well, 你 probably have. The Philadelphia native recently appeared as Jake O’Hare on the season opener of AMC’s 流行的 series, 'Preacher,' opposite Ruth Negga and Rae Lynnbratten. He’s also been on 'Southland,' 'NCIS,' 'Cold Case' and 'Criminal Minds' among many others.
