Scott? He never seems to care about the fact that Stiles is in emotional pain, he is a terrible friend for Stiles. In season one he was the only one who could stop Peter, yet he decided to turn off his phone to go on a date with Allison. And the way he was pretty rude to his mom in season one as well. Season 2 Stiles told him multiple times that Matt was controling the Kanima, but he never listened. He was ready to risk Stiles dad's life to save Deaton. Scott thinks he is the only one who has problems and responsabilities!

Derek on the other hand, he gave being an Alpha to save his sister, in season 4 he was ready to die to save Scott, yes he made mistakes, but he was trying his best!
