What is up with that? As an only child, it's something I really notice in this show. Scott, Stiles, Allison, Lydia (as far as we know), and Jackson don't have siblings. It's completely unbelievable to me. Every single one of my friends have siblings and I can't even remember the last time I've met an only child.

I'm an only child, so it does happen, it's semi rare but I have met quite a bit of people who are also are an only child. I've also notice a lot of anime characters and characters from other shows don't have siblings either. so maybe it's just easy to have those who are only childs in media I dunno it's just my theory

I am only child. I find it that if the main characters were to have siblings it would be more dangerous and also they would not understand maybe that is why they are only's.

I have two older siblings, but they aren't related and are 9 and 10 years older than me, so I was raised an only child. It's not that weird, but it is kinda. With Scott his mom is young and hasn't been with Scott's dad forever, and with Stiles his mom died.

It's weird that none of them have a sibling.
