Belle is new to Beacon Hills and befriends Stiles but when she hangs out with him and Scott she meets Derek. She instantly falls head over heels for the mysterious older guy. She ends up coming by to chat Derek every now and then. Soon it becomes more and more often, until he takes her to the lookout point and has a picnic set up for a first date. After the date, Derek looked down at her and cups her face and kisses this girl who had turned his world upside down. She was the only one since the fire that made him smile, made him hopeful for the future with this sweet, nerdy girl who made him laugh everyday they were together.
