And Dean will help him pick up the pieces. After all, that's his job right? Look after his pain in the ass little brother? ;)

I pick this because it would make the show more interesting and have more storyline to it and I also think it would wrap well with the end game of the show.

I mean really if Sam just lost him mind and became a mental case how could that do any good for the show, since everyone said he would never recover...so i just don't see that happening.

I think the show will be on for only one more season after this one so it this would be a good way to start the beginning of the end. I Mean we already know that some rogue angels are trying to reopen the Luicifer's cage, some are interested in purgatory and souls, and somewhere in the middle of all that lays a key factor of Sam. We have no idea what Crowley, Samuel and the others did,say, etc to Sam that whole year after he came back before meeting back up with Dean.

I just think that Dean learned his lesson after playing Death for a day and that he knows that he will have to take his father's advice that if he can't save save Sam then he must kill him. That would do more damage to Dean than anything else and would leave him in a bad way if he didn't die as well

I just can't see the writers turning Sam evil in the end. It would completely negate the point of the show, wouldn't it? The show is about this amazing love story of two brothers, and the lengths they will go to save each other, and ultimately, the world. I just don't like the idea of Sam turning evil and Dean having to kill him, it's too OOC for me. I mean, hell, Sam was possessed by LUCIFER himself and Dean couldn't kill him, so I don't really see Dean being able to under any circumstance, because that's kind of the worst that could happen.

And I feel like Sam will freak out, the wall will come down, and he'll be more determined than ever to be GOOD, not evil. But I have no idea what will happen. I just know I don't want Sammy to go darkside! :(

The whole point of the show has about two borhters bond yes, but it has also been about Sam going dark and dean always being there to try and save him. There is only one real to save him in the end even thoug hhasn't worked out so well since they keep getting brought back but i also think that is partly because Sam has to be killed by his brother just as Lucifer was by Michael so many years ago. I think in the end game Sam will be evil but he will be always trying to fight the good in him..a kind of reverse from sseason 4 and 5.....and in the end he will pick good over evil in a final showdown between good and evil. Which will give the good guys the winning card to win the battle. But it may also cause the brotherd to sacrifice themselve for the better of man kind at the very end of it

True, I know the Michael/Lucifer storyline was supposed to be eerily similar to Dean/Sam, that wasn't lost on me. I got that. But I think that part of the story ended with the Apocalypse. But really, I don't know. I just say that because I don't want it to end with Sam being evil and Dean having to kill him. Or even with Sam being evil, but then at the last second realizing he's good. I don't know. I mean how can they go bigger than the Apocalypse? The war in Heaven will play a role I'm sure, but I just don't know.

As you can see from this, I just don't know. My main motivation for picking this is that I don't want Sam to go darkside. It's not an appealing thing for me. I wouldn't like it if they took the storyline down that road...again, because I feel like they've already wrapped that up.

I see where your coming from....i wish they would have just ended it last season but then they opened it back up by having Cas say that some rogue angels are trying to restart the apocalyspe...and like Death said ..everytime they get brought back they cause a stife of huge magnitude, but the souls thing is going to play a huge role as well as the mess going up in heaven, death itself will play a big role as well as some of the other major players. But llike Sam said befoer going into the box...don't poke at it and now we have had Crowley and Death are just some of the ones we know about that have messed with it. I just don't see Dean and Sam having a cherry pie life at the very end. It is not part of the overall plan...not just destiny but fate.

I don't see them having a cherry pie life, either. It's not realistic for them. It's not Supernatural you know? They will keep hunting and saving people, or die trying. It's just who they are. And I'm okay with that. I think the finale of last season could have been a perfect series finale, but I love this show too much to say goodbye so I'm really glad they didn't end it there. As long as they can continue to surprise me with great storylines and writing (which they have so far in S6) I'm content to keep watching and trying to figure out what the hell is going to happen. I can see Sammy going darkside again...I just hope he doesn't.

It's funny that people would want to see Sam hurt and mental un able to hunt.....and when i ment mental i guess i should have made it clear by saying mental ward is where he would end up because he would be such a mess if he went that route.....such severe nightmares asleep and awake, agonizing pain, etc......I would reather have him still be sam even if that ment he went dark versus this mental ward way

Yeah, I took this more as, a little messed up, but fixable, not like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, crazy, if you know what I mean. Because Sam isn't going to be mental hospital crazy, the writers wouldn't do that. It wouldn't be good with the show. But I would rather Sammy be a little messed up (fixable) like Dean was when he came back from Hell, than darkside...because I just don't like the idea of him being full on evil, because that isn't Sammy either. It's hard to explain what I am trying to say, but I hope it makes sense. lol

It does....but the reason i say mental ward (mental) is because that is the more realisitic our come which has been expressed by Crowley,CAs, and now Death, so that is why i put it that way because i don't think he would be fixable unless God intervened again, which might be what will happen, but that means he is so bad that only God could do it so that is pretty bad off. I get what you meant by Dean but dean was just in hell and not in the cage with to of the strongest and feirces arch angels. One who is pissed that he is stuck in hell when he is used to being in heaven and then the other who is pissed for being put back in his box on yet another lengthy stay. So he would have to be far worse than Dean was when he got back from hell. NOt to mention he has been down there longer than Dean was

I know that Dean's trip to Hell will look like a walk in the park compared to poor lil' Sammy's. And I get that everyone thinks that Sam is going to "go off the deep end," because really that wall is going to come down sooner or later regardless and it's going to be awful. I don't know how they will fix it. God does seem to have a soft spot for our favorite angel and our Winchester boys, so maybe he will help. I really don't know (I say that wayyy to much, don't I? lol) how Sam is going to not be a heap of mess and drool on the floor, but I just have a feeling that somehow he won't be, and I'm just hoping he doesn't have to go darkside to heal.

It's funny everyime someone mentions the darkside i can't help but think of star wars.....which is probably what sammy meant when he said it.

Sam was never really evil...evil, yeah he killed demons and sucked blood but he was never evil...the only time he was evil was when you saw him as Lucifer so that doesn't really count because it was just his meatsuit not Sam. Plus like Sam said last season he is always angry...that is just part of who he is. once you get a taste of power it is hard to give it up especially in with that tempermant.....i mean look at dean he likes to be in charge and whatnot and he's the one who is always laughing it up and seems to be the more mellow of the two.

I agree with you @Dean-girlx Evil(or grappling with demon blood and the darker parts of his character)Sammy has been done, let's move on to something else, some other interesting aspect of his character that is yet to be explored!

And lmao, @Ashley6262000 I think of Star Wars too! Pretty sure when he first made that reference he said something about Star Wars, actually.

And I don't think Dean likes "power" I think him liking to be in charge comes from a lifetime of being in charge and having this kid who had to look after. I think having that mentality since you are...what 4, would probably just stick and it becomes a part of who you are.

honestly I really don't think the writers would turn Sam evil again....not after Robo!Sam...unless they want to die of a painful death...plus Sam at the end in S4 was pretty evil,black eyes and everything,at the end of S5 was posessed by Lucifer,evil again,it woul be ripetitive make him become evil again,plus his sacrifice in S5 would be totally pointless,and I realy don't want that to happen....but I don't think Sam will become crazy crazy like mental ward crazy....surely the wall will breakk and he will suffer a lot....he willl broken but maybe not beyond reapair... but anyway who knows??? :P

I don't want either, but I think Dean could handle an evil Sam better than looney Sam. Either one would tear him up inside, but he's more used to this, I guess.

But somehow, I think looney Sam is the way they might go. I could be wrong.

ok is yeah its more likely that Sam will be crying mess - but this Sam guys the one that never breaks down just gets more powerful and more evil plus Death said that souls are powerful then u think . plus Demons are made cause they have been in hell for a long time - So mabe Sam will Be a pure Demon with out any sprit

again who knows.....but Dean was in Hell for 40 years and her tortured souls for 10 and he didn't become a demon,so why Sam? plus Cas talked about suffering and crazyness....so I don't know,but Evil!Sam just doesn't seem like something that will happen....but that's just me!
