Yes, there are books, but they are about their parents and, for Rain, her mom's mom. I don't want to watch something that happened before Spirit and Rain were alive so I didn't pick that one. And the movie is called SPIRIT. So it shouldn't be centered around the foal. And then when Spirit was a colt, there wouldn't as much drama, so that's how I came up w/ my answer. :)

yeah there's books! There's one called "Esperanza" It's about spirits mom and his dad strider. it even has a polonimo and black mustang on the same hill spirit's always on! HOW COOL IS THAT?!!!!

About life after the first movie. I just wouldn't want them to have a foal. It's so typical for the main character would have a foal or colt. Duh!

Its stupid if its about their child. I don't care about their child and all sequels are like that (The Little Mermaid, The Lion King)...I like the movie because of the main characters, Spirit and Rain... Not because of their son or daughter...

I think it should tell about the story of Rain. After all we never see her as a foal. And I would like to see what her voice would be like and find out about her feelings for Spirit.

By the way on the cover of the book "Esperanza" the palomino mare Esperanza and the black stallion is Strider (spirit's father). Plus life after the movie would be peaceful, calm, and BORING!!!!! Also during Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron we saw all of spirit's adventures. I think Rain's story/spirit and rain's adventures in the movie(Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron) through Rain's eyes would be cool!!!! So I agree with Copymint!

I almost didn't like Spirit Riding Free or Spirit Untamed because Spirit Sr. (aka Spirit Jr.'s dad or Spirit originally) and Rain don't appear, I've been told that Esperanza, Strider and the rest of the herd, excluding Rain would be ghosts because of being very old horses they've probably died, Spirit Untamed was such a failure in 2021 in theaters, at least franchises like Antz, The Prince of Egypt, Chicken Run, Shrek, Sinbad, Shark Tale, Madagascar, Flushed Away, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train your Dragon, Megamind, among other franchises are still the same as we know them, I hope Universal and DreamWorks release the sequel for Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, I don't think Lucky Prescott (i.e., the girl owner and friend of Spirit Jr.) can be a villain just like the colonel was
