I don't think Kaede would have been good for Rin... The fact that he moved out symbolised his independance, which I fully support - if he wants to grow up and have a household of his own, then he needs to be able to take care of himself, instead of relying on someone else to do it for him.

I liked the ending to shuffle, I thought that Rin made the right choice.
