Is being gay and being lesbian the same thing?

Gay has two (when talking about sexuality, anyway) meanings. It is a slang term for 'homosexual' but it is also the term used to describe a homosexual man.

Lesbian is used to describe a homosexual woman.

Being Gay means that 你 are attracted to the same 甘德 as yourself. Being Homosexual means the same thing. But some people dont like the word "Gay" because it is originally meant to express your happy. But other dont like being called a "Homo" because it is used as an insult. Like "Hey homo". I however, think that Gay means happy. I am Gay. I am Lesbian. Being a lesbian, makes me happy.
I dont think being called "Homo" hurts me, but i perfer Lesbian. And yes, A woman can be gay, she is a gay woman/female. The term is Lesbian, and for a Gay man, he is called Just gay.


Gay=Happy.
Gay=Same sex love.
Gay=Love.
Gay=Same sex 爱情 between two women.
Lesbian=Same sex 爱情 between two women.
Homo=Same sex 爱情 between the same sex.

GAY+LOVE+LESBIAN+HOMOSEXUAL+HAPPY= FREAKING AWESOME. there. hopefully thats what 你 where looking for. if not, oh well. i tried...im off to eat skittles.
