Different relationships have different definitions of cheating, but, as a general rule, undeniably yes, sex outside of your relationship is, nine times out of ten, considered cheating, and the only time it is not considered cheating is if BOTH partners agree to an open relationship. I do not know if this 问题 is referring specifically to 你 and your relationships, but if it is, I'm assuming that 你 and your boyfriend are in the typical monogamous relationship, rather than the atypical polygamous relationship. In that case, straying outside that monogamous commitment is definitely cheating, and can hurt the other person. Whether it's a guy sleeping with another girl, a girl sleeping with another guy, a guy sleeping with another guy 或者 a girl sleeping with another girl, sex outside of the relationship is what modern society colloquially calls "cheating." Other names for it include infidelity, straying, adultery, betrayal, and having an affair (though admittedly, the latter one assumes a 秒 relationship which implies having sex out of the relationship at least 更多 than once). I hope that cleared up any confusion on the subject. Nine times out of ten, there is no wiggle room. It's infidelity. The tenth time out of ten occurs in polygamous 或者 open relationships.
