well, its not that he deserves to loose her,because if he hadn't 迷失 lily, we would never see snape as what he is right now, loosing lily is a part of his story, if he hadn't 迷失 her, i dont think we will know snape the way he is right now, maybe he is sad, but the thought of lily urges him to be better ..and if he hadn't 迷失 her, then there will be no harry potter, no grumpy but loving snape, no snape 粉丝 feeling sympathetic for him..
loosing lily is just a good thing, snape needs to 移动 on. i'd prefer snape finding another love, but bringing back the past and having her will entirely change the story.

In the 7th book it says in one of Snape's memories, that Lily didnt like the people he hung out with and 说 she didnt like it!
and then if she hated him and refused to talk to him because of one silly mistake that anyone could have made under that kind of pressure then she wasnt a very good friend!
Ok so i sound like a Lily hater and i am not! i just think that they wouldnt have made a good couple and that she was good with James. but i also think Snapes 爱情 and devotion to her was very sweet and he could have made it work!
none of the story could have happened if it hadnt been for the Lily-Snape dissagreement soo though i think it was really sad that he spent his whole life loving a girl that didnt 爱情 him back in the same way, im glad that it worked out that way because it showed a deeper 更多 meaningful side of hisd personality! and i think towords the end J.K Rowling could have thrown a 爱情 interest in their even if she didnt elaborate on it!

I don't think he DESERVED it. No one, no matter who they are, deserves to loose their loved one and/or best friend. But I think it - eventually - made him a better person in the long run.

It is not a punishment from fate what happened to Snape and Lily, it's life. Couples get together and 分裂, 拆分 up. That's the way it is. Lily did not leave Snape because she wanted to punish him 或者 she thought that's what he deserved. Simply enough, she just fell in 爱情 with James Potter, so what? Shit happens. It's nothing like no other person has been dropped before 由 a girl he loved. I don't see the end of the world anywhere. The fact that Snape's crush for Dark Magic might have been a factor in the reason why Snape and Lily's friendship (or whatever it was) is again a rather general shit happening all around. The difference in morals and ideas is a common reason for people to break up. No he really shouldn't have but I believe her excuse of his mistakes was 更多 than just that. Her statement about "my 老友记 wonder why I'm even 老友记 with you", indicates there was an influence from others there also. Plus I'm sure James was on the side lines talking him down and being young she was easily swayed against Severus. This also shows with her coming down on Sev for his 老友记 practical jokes yet still went to James after his acts of terror and torture and bullying. It was a total contradiction and showed double standards.

No, he should've been 给 another chance at friendship and perhaps more. It's really sad. I've made a lot of mistakes in my life too and 迷失 quite some 老友记 because of it, which I truly hated because I probably would've stuck around instead. One of my (ex) best 老友记 practically ignored me all 年 and my life was quite miserable at the time.

No, I don't think Snape did deserve to lose Lily. (I mean, I'm glad he did, even though we never actually met them I'm glad she went with James)
But I did feel really sorry for him especially because he loved her and she never even knew it. However, also the fact that he was a Death Eater was awful, their relationship would have never lasted and so, I'm happy that they didn't get together so they could avoid THAT heartache.

I am going to say yes, he deserved to loose her. Not trying to be the mean voice on here but I think it 《金装律师》 the characters better. Lily was a friend to Severus, then he ended up saying some pretty horrible stuff to her. I don't think being 给 another chance would have changed things, events would have eventually fallen into place accordingly. His character is not a result of just loosing Lily, but the result of all his actions. 你 shall reap what 你 sow.

At the time, yes he did deserve losing Lily. I know he loved her, but he was going to become a Death Eater. He redeemed himself later in life when it was too late.

No, he did not deserve it. If that's how it is, then Lily shouldn't have ever gotten with James in the first place seeing how he treated Severus while Lily and him were friends. Oh, but I get it...just as long as it doesn't happen directly to precious Lily then it's excusable...I get it. If Lily was as good as a friend she was thought of to be; she'd stay with Severus and understand why he did what he did. And she'd help him through his mishap. Just 由 阅读 his actions around Lily I could tell there was definitely something else going on. Ugh, she's as flawed as Severus is.

你 have to remember, that we are talking about the equivalent of high school relationships.

I don't think that Severus deserved the total loss of his only friend.

We also have to remember, Severus was the equivalent of 'the weird kid' in school, (which my group in high school was the ones made up of the oddball ones as well...LOL) and Lily sounds like one of the ones, while not popular, was 老友记 with everyone, not one person singly.

So, here we have Severus who values probably the one good thing about his childhood, and once they reached school, how could he not have fallen in 爱情 with her, 你 could almost say obsessing about her, for her friendship and kindness to him.

And here's Lily, who has the great Quittitch Player James flirting with her, which makes her probably feel special, the only thing wrong with him is that he's so mean to her friend Severus and she doesn't know if he might be serious about her 或者 not.

And here's James, that really likes Lily, and because he can see that Severus likes Lily, gets jealous of their friendship, even though Lily doesn't actually feel that way about Severus, it still causing him to focus his bullying on him cause he sees their friendship and Severus' interest as a threat to his relationship with Lily.

And Lily being basically oblivious to all the subtext of the fighting between James and Severus, comes in and a tense situation explodes. Its high school, looking back, everyone has situations from that time that they can't help but think they would have reacted differently, 或者 done things differently.

With maturity, and time, I think Severus and Lily would have reclaimed their friendship. Lily would have always been the first 爱情 that Severus lost. No, but I think he would have 迷失 her friendship anyway. She was 更多 important to him than him to her. In fact Lily wasn't really that good a friend to Snape. If she had truly been Snape's friend she would have forgiven him and she would not have had to stop herself from laughing at Snape when James hung him upside down. She also seemed to pay 更多 stock to her other friends' opinions on Snape. Frankly I think it was a convinient excuse for her to end the relationship.
