There are just so many great Russian bands and singers out there, it's hard to pick just five, but I was able to narrow it down. With three honorable mentions of course; СЛОТ, She-Za, and Линда.

1. t.A.T.u.

t.A.T.u. will always have a special place in my heart. This Russian duo was my first experience with Russian 音乐 and my first experience with the LGBT community. I think that the band shed some light on LGBT themes and helped me appreciate different kinds of 爱情 better.
