When I started high school, I met the person I thought was my best friend. He would later betray me, but I'll get to that later. We met in English class and casually talked after school. One day, a group of bullies knocked me to the ground. They were about to beat me up. He came out of nowhere and said, "Hey! Leave my friend alone!" The bullies left. He came up to me and asked, "Are 你 okay?" I got up and said, "Yeah, I'm okay." He asked, "Are 你 sure?" I said, "I'm sure." The one good thing that came out of my high school experience was that I finally met a girl who was perfect for me. This is how we met. One day, I was going to my locker. I 迷失 my balance and fell down the stairs. I didn't realize that my backpack was unzipped, and my 图书 were scattered all over the floor. Everyone who saw this laughed, but one person didn't laugh. I felt someone put a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see a gorgeous blonde. Her multicolored eyes were full of concern. She asked, "Are 你 all right?" I smiled and said, "I am now." She helped me get my 图书 back in order and walked to class with me. She said, "My name is Lydia, 由 the way. I'm new here." I said, "My name's Leonard." We started out as casual friends, but pretty soon, our friendship evolved into something more, love.
