Sarcasm and humor for non-native speaker?
I confess that English is not my first language. I learned it 由 阅读 图书 and taking classes, and other methods such as reading, writing, listening, speaking and interacting with others. Also, online helped me a lot for practice, but I am not an expert. As progressive learner of English language, one thing I am having trouble with is understanding sarcasms and jokes. It's not that I don't completely grasp them. I can understand the obvious sarcasms and obvious jokes, but it starts to get difficult when the sarcasm is subtler than usual. Same for the jokes. For cultural differences and linguistic difficulty, I suffer from understanding deep 或者 high level sarcasms 或者 jokes. Same goes for delivering jokes as well. When I try to joke, it doesn't always appear the same way I want to 或者 the way I usually apply jokes in my language. Is there anyway I can improve this? Any tips? Thank you.
