Do 你 have a lucky item 或者 charm?

Im usually not one for superstition 或者 anything, but I do keep a card around with me XD

Cos my therapist was trying to make a point with a demonstration where he took out a deck of cards and told me to say the name of any one card and then continue drawing until I found it. Literally the last card I found was the Four of Spades, the card that I called out.

For those that dont want to calculate the math, thats a 1 in 1.2397999 x 10^68 chance of happening.

或者 1 in 123979990000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 chance of happening XD

So while I dont believe in superstition, I keep it in my phone case all the time both as a "in case superstition is a thing" and just to have something to talk about XD

Lucky charms huh? In cases like these, Nagito could lend a helping hand. Preferably the left one ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) !!!!

I carry a revolver on me. I believe it'll reduce my chances of being mugged 或者 raped

In all seriousness though, I really don't. I'm pretty unsuperstitious so usually I just kinda laugh when anyone suggests that I should

I have one. It's a 交叉, 十字架 项链 I have that I gave to my mom for her last Christmas. The 交叉, 十字架 represents faith, the hearts represent love, and the band represents hope. I wear it whenever I need courage 或者 luck for something I need to do 或者 I just wear it whenever I want to feel my mom's presence.

I don't really have something like that which I carry around with me. The closest thing to that for me would probably just be one of the many tics 或者 compulsions I do. Like tapping the tips of my shoes on the ground three times when I put them on.

I honestly don't think I'm capable of having something I carry around with me at all times unless it has some kind of big importance but I can't think of anything so far that fits the bill.

I had to look these up and everyone is saying that a seven rings 项链 is symbolic of stuff, but nobody wants to say what

Each ring is meant to represent something. Health, love, friendship etc

Nope.
I used to have this key I would wear on a chain as a 项链 that I used to never take off but it was never really a lucky charm exactly and I don't really wear it now. It was probably the closest thing I had to a lucky charm.
I wore it like every 日 like 5 或者 6 years

Here's a 照片 I took of it once.

Doesn't really have anything to do with luck, but I have an amethyst 项链 that I don't really take off for anything except showers and sleeping. It's got a bit of a story behind it.

My parents used to think they weren't going to be able to have children, even thought they wanted to. (Like, actual doctors told my mom she was barren.) So when I came along, it was a pretty big deal for them. I was born in February, and so my dad gave both my mom and her mom amethyst necklaces (February birthstone) for the occasion. Although appreciative, my grandmother doesn't usually wear jewelry beyond earrings and her wedding ring, so her 项链 sat in a drawer for years. During those years, my parents proved whatever doctor 说 they'd be childless extraordinarily wrong, and had 6 更多 kids after me.

As was usual for my family, a couple years after number 7 had come along, we learned that an 8th was on the way. Figured out it was a he, chose a name, got prepared for yet another one. But then he died, before he was ever born. It was about the worst I've ever felt. I've 迷失 family members before, as I'm sure most have, but they're usually old enough that it's 更多 okay. Of course we miss them, but it's a lot easier to come to terms with the death of someone who lived a full life than someone who'd barely even gotten started.

Though it took a while, I did come to terms with it eventually. I did, however, want something to remember him by. I could accept his death, but never forget it. But finding a memento proved very difficult, as he hadn't lived long enough to use 或者 own any object. When my grandmother saw what I was doing, she gave me her amethyst necklace. And really, it's kind of perfect. The very same item used to celebrate my unexpected, living birth, was now what I latched on to to remember my brother's unexpected, pre-birth death.

And now I always wear it, to always remind myself. How lucky I am to have been born, alive and well, when nobody thought I would exist. Of my brother, who I never even got to see. And how someday, I will. It brings me peace.

I almost consider it an extension of him, now. A way for him to live through me, see and hear everything I do. Experience the beauties of life he never did. I know that isn't really the case, but it's a pleasant idea. Helps me live life to the fullest without feeling held back.

Sorry for the ridiculously long answer, as well as the sad tone. Thanks if 你 actually read the whole thing!
