What's something 你 dislike about your fandoms?

When it comes to shipping in ALL my fandoms, I greatly dislike the extreme 粉丝 who have to shove their ship down people's throats, tell people to kill themselves over it, harass actors and staff of a show/series to "make it canon" despite the amount of times they 说 it wasn't, etc.

Also the whole jumping on the hate bandwagon thing for the main female characters. (Ex. Sakura, Lucy, Orihime, etc)

Sometimes the gun fandom is over the top.

I'm not a big fandom person in general. I 爱情 talking about the things I enjoy, hence being on Fanpop, but with fandoms there are just so many people that think their opinions are the only valid opinions, and mischaracterisation happens a lot in fandoms as well.

I 爱情 BBC's Sherlock, for example, but a lot of people seem to look at the 显示 for all the wrong reasons- shipping. I stopped following nearly all the Sherlock blogs I followed on Tumblr (before I quit tumblr all together) because so many of them seemed to care ONLY about sex between John Watson and Sherlock Holmes like there wasn't anything else to like about the show. And if someone so much dared to say such, they'd reblog it with responses like "u homofob it so obv. dat deys in luv ok u r RONG nd not a troo phan ob da shew".

Not to mention all the crummy smut fanfiction with fantasised sex scenes and mass amounts of out-of-character behaviour.
Pissed me off. I mean ship whatever 你 want, but don't go assuming that someone is a homophobe and not a "true fan" of the 显示 just because they don't like your ship/want to talk about some other aspect of the 显示 for a minute.

It goes on in every fandom, so I avoid them for the most part.

When one 或者 two people are being mean and rude, people think the entire fandom is like that.

'Sasaeng' 粉丝 give 韩流 fandoms one hell of a bad name.
Some of the shit they do should have them locked up.

Okay XD But in all seriousness, I dunno. I dont really participate in fandoms so I dont actually know what the fandoms are like XD My fandoms literally consist of me, myself, and I. Sometimes I have one 或者 two 老友记 that might discuss with me but I have never REALLY participated in a fandom so I wouldnt know. XD

Nothing, I 爱情 日本动漫 fandoms, they always give recommendations and stuff.

But, The only thing wrong, is how people force they're anime's down you're throat, it always manages to annoy.

The most thing I hate are shipping wars and fanboys/fangirls, insulting each other, because of their shipping, 或者 telling them, they can't ship it, because it's not canon, 或者 你 can't ship YAOI/YURI ships, because it's disgusting 或者 so.
I also hate it, when they bully other shippers 或者 try to intimidate others, to leave their ship.
Trolls and bullies are also disliked.

I think that since so many people get in to sports now, that the fangirl/boy species is nonexistent- so therefore many people think 你 weird and unusual because 你 are a fangirl/boy. There are a lot of intelligent people in the fandoms, like me. But intelligence levels have evidently gone down over the years, so it is actually UNCOMMON to find intelligent people everywhere. Sorry if this does not relate to fandoms!!! But there are some relationships between the topics, because in general, people who read 更多 are smarter (like me!) and lots of fandoms involve books, like Divergent and the Maze Runner.

I don't even call myself being apart of fandoms anymore, because I agree with 你 there aren't any intelligent fanboys and girls. All I see is. OMG NAruHINTA forever.
Like all people seem to care about is epic fight scenes and shipping. When it comes to anime.
And as for One direction, do 你 really need an example?
The only thing that's in that fandom is lustful 12 年 olds.

HAHAHA omgs thank 你 for this question!! I have a lot of fandoms but I'll name a few that I'm quite irritated with.

Holy crap. The tropes in the PJO/HOO fandom, I f****ing swear, they are so annoying. Yeah, the "Jason and Percy bro" thing was funny at first, but if I have to encounter one 更多 post about Percy saying Jason is prettier than Annabeth, his girlfriend whom he's completely in 爱情 with, I am going to scream.
Then there's the whole Percy acts like a five 年 old. Helloooo Percy's not stupid (okay maybe at times), but he's very smart. He was the leader of a war for crying outloud and I must say, his plans were holy moly amazeballs. May I also add that he outwitted monsters and gods?

Okay, people ship who they wanna ship. Whatever. But I just don't GET it. Like WHY do 你 ship Pernico? Pernico didn't even exist until the whole Nico admits he's gay thing. So what? If Reyna admits that she's lesbian, you'll just ship her to whomever girl she has encountered with? And don't get me started with Solangelo. In BoO, I felt Rick just forced them.

Enough about that fandom. Let's go on with my SNSD fandom.

I 爱情 this fandom to death, but there are times when it gets annoying. I especially get annoyed when Locksmiths are so die hard, meaning they think that TaeNy should end up together, romantically. I don't oppose your ship bruh, but unless they openly say they are lesbian, yelling at someone who says otherwise that TaeNy are just friends, is just cray.

Shipping wars, and people actually judging characters for not ending up with someone they like 或者 ending up with someone they don't like asdfjkl;.

Harry Potter: some fanfiction can get waaaay too out of hand xD

Skyrim: the sheer amount of Stormcloak fanatics there are. Try to be mildly cynical 或者 scrutinise their actual political aims and you'll get conversations like:
