Oh yes, the peeling-off-the-dead-skins part as well. And at the same time they can itch like crazy when 你 start to peel them off :P

the best way to not get sunburned is to put on lots of sunscreen 或者 avoid going out in the sun

Normally my Mediterranean heritage/olive-ish skin protects me, but the Australian sun can be savage (damn ozone hole letting in all da UV). I had to have a passport 照片 taken a few years 以前 when half my face was burnt pink... great look. It's now all over my public transport concession cards, lol.
