I don't think we really have an accent. Maybe an American accent... but there is no real difference. The ones 你 see on t.v. and stuff like that are all stereotypes.
Also, there are many different types of New Yorkers and many different accents. Do 你 mean the Italian New York accent, or...?

Yes this 问题 did make me feel weird Im a New Yorker... I have a really heavy Brooklyn accent some people find it annoying but some find it cute no one ever found it exactly sexy. I'm constantly leaving out the last syllable of words, adding 'aw' syllables
