Tell them straight up whether it hurts their feelings 或者 not. Your only option is to toughen up in my opinion. For your 'friends' to call 你 such names is wrong. If they were true 老友记 they wouldn't, but you're partly to blame for allowing it to continue. Just tell them 你 won't stand for it any more, and they should stop. If they don't, i suggest 你 go see your teacher and let him/her have a word with them and explain to your 老友记 that although 你 laugh you're putting on a 《勇敢传说》 face as it actually hurts inside.
if they're true 老友记 they will respect your wishes and stop. If not, i suggest 你 go find yourself some new friends.

Option 1: Tell them straight 前锋, 期待 that these names they're calling 你 bother 你 a lot, and if they are really friends, they'll stop with the name calling. If they don't stop, stop hanging out with them altogether and go find some REAL friends.

Option 2: Grow a pair and stop caring. Ignore the names, and laugh out loud whenever they call 你 this. Don't take it as an insult, but instead as a compliment.

你 know, this describes my personality. I am really nice, and I don't stand up for myself alot, I joke around and act crazy just to be fun, and some of my 老友记 call me names. It hurts, truly! But what I do is try to manipulate them. It's actually really fun, trying to see their reaction! For instance:
Friend: Hey, weirdo. 你 on your medication?
Me: Does it look like i'm a pie to you? Yes, it does.
Friend: Uhh...
It totally is awesome! But another thing 你 can do is just tell them deep down how 你 feel. If 你 think 你 can't do it, practice in front of a mirror 或者 something so 你 can gather the courage. When the time comes, tell them how your 心 truly feels. Hope this helps!

Okkk I get called weird all the time and I simple state "HEY! I perfer the term VISIONARY!" because I am. And secondly retard is not a nice word. It's been actually hurting me 更多 and 更多 lately becuase the school wants me to get tested for disabilities and a lot of my 老友记 have disabilities. One's bipolar, ones diclexic (I have idea how to spell that x3 ) and another has ADHD. So if they call 你 a retard tell them it's not okay. It's a REAL medical problem people seem to use a common insult. That also goes for calling others gay 或者 the F word. (I do not use the F word. ever.) Those are fowl names and no one should ever use them to insult someone. I have two gay 老友记 and they are perfectly happy. Got a problem with that?
