What are some good TV shows I can watch?

The summers are here, and I have NOTHING to do, so instead of wasting my time sitting around, I want to start watching some TV shows. Any recommendations?

Here are some I watch:
- Doctor Who
- Supernatural
- The Vampire Diaries
- 90210
- Gossip Girl

Please tell me your favourites and give me a brief summary about what it's about? Thank you.
