Which do 你 prefer? Western 动画片 或者 Anime?

Okay, first off let me just say that in order to fully compare these two different types of 动画片 你 have to look at the BEST each side has to offer. Sure, 更多 western inclined audiences only know the 更多 流行的 and generic kiddy animes that were 流行的 when growing up and now see how annoying they are. And a 更多 Eastern inclined audience will praise 日本动漫 for its beautiful art and attractive characters, cool opening theme songs and a 更多 developed plotline.
Keeping that in mind I will also say that 日本动漫 DID NOT copy off of western 动画片 AT ALL, America has Walt 迪士尼 and Marvel and 日本 has tezuka Osamu and Hayao Miyazaki, all of which are DIFFERENT PEOPLE. Also lets not compare American 动画片 to the shows of the east. Spongebob is not Death Note and Invader Zim is not Pokemon, end of story.
Neither is a "load of sh*t", and personally, for me, each share a special place in my heart. I freaking 爱情 Walt 迪士尼 and respect the hardwork and attention to detail of Hayao Miyazaki(known as the "Walt 迪士尼 of Japan).
Both of these types of animations has its good sides and bad and trust me my fellow animaniacs, none are all the same!
I 爱情 日本动漫 for its beauty, depth and storyline.
I 爱情 western 动画片 for its somewhat crude humor, heros, honesty and innocence.

Definitely anime! But not the crappy kids anime! When it comes to kid friendly stuff, I prefer "western animation". Especially Phineas and Ferb! X3

Anime! Hellz yeah! I mean, Western 动画片 is cool and all.....But 日本动漫 is just more...detailed, and yeah...

Western animation, when it comes to animation, 日本动漫 is a load of shit, I don't even think the Japs know what they're fucking doing. Western 动画片 has better effects, 日本动漫 is cheap and just copies what the west already accomplished in the early 20th century. I mean, come on, we've got Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, freaking Spongebob Squarepants right now and all Japan's got is some poorly drawn, ugly ass, huge eye, inhuman shit. And the plots, look at any 日本动漫 plot and it's either completely unoriginal 或者 it has no plot at all. So why watch it? Western 动画片 has 更多 advances, 日本动漫 can go suck it.

I like anime, but western 动画片 will always be better for me.

i don't know exactly what Western 动画片 is, but i know what is Anime...so i prefer Anime...you are right has cute character and faces:] the stories are always amazing also;]

It depends, there are some Animes I lean towards, and some Western Animations I lean towards.

It depends upon the show. I know that you know how much I 爱情 Total Drama, creativegirl (as well as all Total Drama spot members XD), but I also really 爱情 certain animes (coughcoughouranandfurubacough), but not all of them.

So, I guess it just depends ;)

I like them both, really. But a lot of times it's hard to find a really good anime. Most of them are cliched and unoriginal. But there are times when 你 find a really good anime. On the contrary, Western 动画片 is usually aimed towards little kids (with exceptions, of course). But it's usually 更多 original and, well, most of the time it's 更多 goofy and funny, while 日本动漫 is usually 更多 serious. (Usually.)

I like them both, but being a total goof and a child at heart, I prefer Western animation. When I want something 更多 serious, I'll watch some anime, but 总体, 整体 western 动画片 is just 更多 my style.

I 爱情 both! But I have to choose Westren 动画片 because it has Total Drama Island, Phineas and Ferb, The Simpsons and Futurama

I prefer 日本动漫 even though I'm English, I have always watched 日本动漫 like Dragon Ball/Z cause I think Western 动画片 is a 更多 for younger people, no offence to 你 of course ^_^

Western 动画片 由 far. Their characters have differentiation and the quality is typically better (thinking 更多 of Disney)

I'm acutally tied in with both- Westren has really good taste, good ideas, and very hilarous moments in history. But for Anime, it also has the same touch too, though their characters have a sweet, cute, and very dramatic personality. I think when comparing, I think both Westren and Japanese animations belong together as same. :)
