I need your help Fanpopers!!

I'm gettin a 仓鼠 soon and I've had them before but I still consider myself a beginner.
So my 问题 is what 仓鼠 is good for beginners?I like the Winter White 仓鼠 and the Syrian 仓鼠 (teddy 熊 hamster).
And if 你 could please post a link to some info on them and what kind of cage they need(plastic,metal).
