I know a lot about the Black Dahlia murder because of the project

I'm pretty sure there was a movie awhile back 由 the same title. Something about a young woman who's mouth was slit. Her name was Elizabeth Short. She got the nickname(The Black Dahlia) from the newspaper who printed her story. (Apparently they liked nicknaming cases they found particularly colorful.)

Well I believe it was the nickname of an actress, Elizabeth Short, who was brutally murdered in the forties.
