你 dont HAVE to take this advice, but it may help cuz this is what I would do because I was sorta in the same situation, 你 see.
So first of all 你 can always keep him as a good friend and 日期 the guy 你 wanna date, cuz I have many guyfriends and they all seem to accept eachother. And one tip of advice, based on past experience: Dont 日期 a guy if:
You're not comfortable around him, If he smells like onions, If he is not hot, if he tries to seclude 你 from others, if he fondles too much and if he likes to be in physical contact... trust me... just dont.

my friend had this problem before.i dont think this is right but my friend liked the idea.a guy asked her out and she 说 she was going out with someone else.thats her 建议 not mine.

Go out with him if has got a nice butt.
If not reject him.
