Moving on maybe hard but it's not impossible, thinking bout him isn't good either listen to a song 或者 something. He may change his mind, at the moment he felt like that was the right way but things change. 或者 do a rebound boy.. i'm sorry that was harsh. My advice, is to find a better friend that would still be 老友记 if this happened again. He doesn't deserve 你 if he is going to not want to be 老友记 anymore. Unless he has a paticular reason for this. 你 should ask him.
