"Mya, time to get up for school.” My mother 说 shaking me. I cracked my eyes open hoping that I wouldn’t have to go to that jail that they call school. “Well at least it’s friday.” I thought to myself. I dragged myself to my bathroom, doing my daily morning routine. After getting my clothes on I stared at myself in the mirror, wondering what kind of hell was in store for me today. Today I decided that I wanted to be comfortable so I decided to wear black Aero sweats, regular white t-shirt and black J’s and I put my hair in a side 小马 tail. I went downstairs, giving my mother her proper greeting. “Good morning mom” I 说 to her “Good morning mama” she 说 giving me a hug. “Do 你 want any breakfast?” she asked “No thank you, I’m not hungry” She gave me this stare. i already knew what she was gonna say “Mya, why don’t 你 want to eat? I haven’t seen 你 eat in a couple of days.” she 说 with care and sincerity in her eyes. “Mom, I am eating. I’m….just not hungry and the moment, ok!?” She gave me this “I know 你 lying to me” glare. I tried to ignore it but she would’t seem to budge. We sat there in an awkward silence for a little while then she decided to break it. “How many time do I have to tell 你 that your not fat. 你 just have a lot of curves for your age” I ignored her and tried to change the subject " Mom, I have to go 或者 I’m gonna be late." she let out a heavy sigh and I went off walking. my school is not that far from here so I just walk so I can save my mom time before she goes to work.


I stood in front of the school. " Here we go. Another 日 in hell" i thought to myself. I just hope that they’re absent today. I walked in and immediately wished that I didn’t “Hey, Mya!” I heard a voice call out to me. I just kept walking and tried to ignore it. I felt someone grab me and push me into a locker. There they were, the people who make my life a living hell. " Oh, so now your deaf too?!" Briana said. This girl hated my guts. She did everything and anything she could to make my life hell. She got all in my face with her whole clique right behind her. " God your so ugly I’m surprised that 你 family even goes out in public with you, let alone 爱情 你 I swear. No wonder your father is not around. He’s ashamed, that he could have a daughter just as ugly as you. And don’t even get me started on your weight, girl have 你 heard of Jenny craig?!" Everyone in the hallway bursted out laughing as I stood there in shame as I tried my hardest to keep my tears, but they just fell out of my face uncontrollably. “Aww, sweetheart don’t worry I’d be crying too if I were as hideous as you, but hey, it’s the truth” she spit in my face making me automatically cover it. I was shocked beyond description. Not only at her words but at what she just did…but like always I wiped it off and ran off to the bathroom crying my eyes out…..
