Mike Montgomery (Cody Christian) has come to the forefront of "Pretty Little Liars" in a big way in Season 5. He lost his girlfriend Mona when someone (maybe Alison) killed her, and now he\'s skulking around up to some super sketchy activities. 

Zap2it spoke with Christian about his arc this season, where he doesn\'t reveal

too much ... but he drops some pretty "A"wesome hints.

Zap2it: This must be really fun for you, getting into some nefarious activities. Cody Christian: Yeah, it\'s a blast. It\'s so much fun and interesting to play what seems to be these actions that are so out of character for Mike. It\'s been a lot of fun for me. As the season progresses, you\'ll see there\'s much more going on with the character.

Why is Mike visiting Alison in prison? Can you reveal anything? He\'s looking for answers and right now he doesn\'t really know where to turn to get those answers, so he\'s doing the best he can.

Why was Mike leaving the candy at the dock? Is that something viewers will find out pretty soon? Maybe he was leaving it for someone? Maybe he was meeting someone and using the candy as currency? I don\'t know. But I do know that the answer to that question is coming in the next couple weeks. When I say "pretty soon," I really do mean pretty soon.

Does Mike even know who he was leaving the candy for? With the candy, he knows. He knows who he wanted to meet there. But something might have happened, and the person he wanted to meet may have gotten tied up.

Why is Mike so hesitant to tell Aria anything? I feel like he doesn\'t know who to trust right now, so he\'s just going to stick to himself and try to get through it on his own. But even more so, he doesn\'t want to get his sister involved because he doesn\'t want to see anything happen to her. I know Mike and Aria have fought quite a bit over the last few seasons, but they love each other. They\'re family and they\'ll do anything for each other. It\'s coming from 1) a place of mistrust of everyone and 2) he doesn\'t want to see his sister hurt in any way, shape or form.

How does Mike feel about Ezra? Has he decided Ezra\'s an OK guy? I think Mike has accepted the "Ezria" relationship. And they had that scene, back in episode 14, right after Mona\'s funeral -- I definitely feel like he appreciates somebody reaching out to him. I think Mike reacted the way he did because he was obviously mourning, and he\'s not really accepting Mona\'s death and the reality of that, the magnitude of the situation. But deep down, he appreciates and respects the fact that Mr. Fitz is reaching out.

How much does Mike know about "A"? Um ... [ chuckles] ... if you type this response, I want you to put in parenthesis the chuckle, because that definitely is part of my answer, that laugh. He knows a lot more than he should, and we\'re going to find out just how much that is in the next couple episodes.
