Torian smiled as he approached veridean city."Who knew a forest could be so big?"he 说 to himself as he walked.Suddenly a purple flash went right across the front of his face.He started to look around,but didn't find anything."What...was that?"he mumbled,before continuing on his path to veridean.Soon he approached the town,but before he could step inside,an officer jenny stopped in front of him,startling him."Gaaaaaaah!"he shouted,falling backwards and landing on his back.Officer jenny got off the motorcycle and ran over."Are 你 okay kid?"Torian nodded."Yes ma'm,i'm fine."He stood up and looked towards officer jenny."Uh......what are 你 doing exactly officer?"he asked,looking around."Veridean city is off limits.It's on lockdown,and we caught 你 on the perimiter of the city"Torian looked past her to see numerous police officers parked around,keeping an eye on every direction."But.....why?"Torian asked.Jenny shook her head."So uninformed....there's been a series of robberies recently from a band of purple pokemon...we've tried to capture them,but they 移动 so fast we can hardly identify what they are."Torian nodded,then his eyes widened slightly."Hey,i saw a purple blur on the way here,could that have been the pokemon that 偷了 from you?"Jenny shrugged."Maybe,but we cant risk leaving our posts to check it out.Anyway,what brings 你 here?" "Well,i came here for a rest,and to register for the pokemon league."Jenny nodded."Okay,where's 你 identification?"Torian looked confused."Identification?What identification?''Jenny sighed."Do 你 have a poke'dex?" "Sure...okay."Torian took out his poke'dex,which officer jenny took.And after hitting a few buttons,showed it to him."I am deter,a pokedex assigned to Torian woods 由 professor oak of pallet town."the device's voice said."Oh....i didn't know my poke'de was also my I.D.Can i go now?"Officer jenny nodded."Yes,you may go."Torian smiled."Thank 你 officer!"Jenny smiled back."No problem,now get going."Torian nodded again and ran to the border,where the other jenny's let him through.He immediately rushed to the pokemon center,where he healed up charmander and rested himself."Before i go....i want to help this place out....i'll find that pokemon,if it's the last thing i do!"He shouted,pumping his fists through the air.

"Where do we look?They probably aren't gonna let us through to look in the forest again,and even if they do,who say's they'll let us back in?"Torian 说 to his charmander,who talked in it's own pokemon voice,all the while walking 下一个 to him."Maybe we should ask all the people who've been robbed any details about their robbery,so we can plan our 下一个 move."Torian started looking around some more,asking different stores about if they had been robed,and if so,could they remember anything.He and charmander now sat on a bench,looking tired."Charmander,this isn't going very well.We've only got one 更多 store to check in this entire city,and so far,all we've gotten are purple blurs..."Charmander dropped it's head.Torian nodded."But 你 know charmander,you never give up until the end,so let's check this last house,and hope for the best!"Charmander jumped up,along with torian,and they walked towards the last store.They soon approached the store,where they saw a broken window."Okay,let's do this."Torian nocked on the door,and an elderly man answered it."Are 你 that boy i hear's been ask'in 'bout dem robberies?"he asked.Torian nodded."Yes sir,i am.My name's torian."The old man rubbed his chin."Torian eh?Dat der is a very odd name young'n.Come inside,i'll tell ya all i know."the old man,cane and all,hobbled inside the store,taking a seat."You sit down to young'n.Wouldn't want ya young legs gett'in tired."Torian took a 座位 as the old man cleared his throat."You see,this all began a long while ago.This town used to be a very 流行的 place for trainers because of all our stores around here,also because in order to get to pewter city,a city with a pokemon gym,you'd have to pass through here.All was well and good,till these purple things with curly tails,look a whole lot like rats,started breakin in and steal'in things....less people started coming here and the natives either packed up and shipped out,or locked their doors and didn't leave their homes."Torian fwlt sorry for the citzens of veridean."You 说 purple....with a curly tail?"The old man nodded."Okay,thank 你 sir!"Torian 说 and left.He went backto the bench."Based off of that man's description,i think i know who the thief is...."He took out his poke'dex and searched until he found a purple 老鼠, 鼠标 with a curly rail."Right!A rattata!I knew it!"He cheered."We better tell officer jenny...
"torian said,and started walking until he was rammed into the ground.Torian stood up."oww...."he groaned,before seeing a rattata glaring at him.He glared ack."You must be that thieving rattata!Well,this is your last dayof robbing buddy!Charmander,let's get'em!"Charmander stepped in front of torian.

Torian:Oh boy.Your good.Now i'm gonna end it!Ember once 更多 charmander!

-ember hit rattata for 1 damae.Rattata fainted.

Torian:I'm positive that this time it'll work!Poke-ball,go!

-he threw the ball at rattata again,rattata went inside again,and the ball wiggled again....until.....
