Sorry it took me a LONG time to write this 下一个 chapter. So 你 might want to refresh your memory. Ok and also I know this rips off EVERYTHING but I was too frustrated with Addison's age. I know she's like 13 but is it okay if she can be 14? Okay I'm gonna start now.

From what I heard from Percy I expected the 黑夜传说 to be a disgusting pile of bones. Instead we landing in the middle of a swimming pool, and in front of us was a tall man in swim trunks, a Hawaii 衬衫 and flip flops while he grilled some hot dogs.

"Uh......Nico.....are 你 sure this is the underworld?" I asked Nico as the man stared at us burning his hot dogs.

"I"m sure."

"Then why are we in a suburban neighborhood?" I asked trying to get out of the pool with my fully drenched clothes. My hair was soaked and it stuck to my eyes and face. Sapphire whined, probably not caring where we were, but 更多 that her designer pants were wet.

"Oh sorry Addison. We're in the Elysian Islands of the underworld. It's where all the people who made good choices 或者 were good 超能英雄 go after they die." He answered, pulling off his black 夹克 and wringing it out. "I didn't realize we would end up in someone's pool. Sorry dude." Nico 说 to the man.

After we had changed into new clothing from our bags, Nico led us out of Elysian. We walked onto a long road that was really crowded with dead people. They were all white and bony, and some seemed like normal humans, but others were moaning and would walk slowly like ghouls.

I was confused why they were all walking towards the same place, until I saw a big black iron gate. In front of it were two hooded figures with a spear in hand. The figures weren't touching the floor and the reminded me of dementors from Harry Potter. Each person had to be checked 由 the creatures, and then they all went to a big field. Nico explained that they went to get tested. Once we reached the hooded figures, a sudden scary chill went through the air, making me want to hold back from the gate.

I noticed the creatures each had big red eyes, and nothing else on their face but a black hole for a mouth. I became scared and reached for Nico's hand. It was smooth and cold yet comforting to me. I wasn't as scared with the comfort of Nico's hand in mine.

"Dead 或者 Alive? 或者 are 你 stupid worthless demigods trying to enter the great lord Hades's land?" Asked one of the creatures. It's voice was low and dark, and the voice reminded me of a wisp of smoke.

"Let us through 你 worthless dogs!! Son of Hades, I demand that my 老友记 and I pass through to my father's domain!!" Nico yelled. I had never really heard him sound so proud and strong.

"Oh, I am truly sorry Prince of the dead, almighty one, I truly am. Please forgive my rude speech and may 你 rule with your father well." The creature 说 kneeling down, bowing to Nico. The other creature did the same. The doors immediately creaked open for us and we walked through.

"That was weird." I 说 eying the creatures, glad to leave the things. Nico still held my hand, and I didn't dare let go.

"Oh that was nothing. Hades only has had two children in the past couple 100 years, me and my dead sister......Bianca." Nico explained, growing quiet. "You see, my father is only king of the underworld. The dead are under his hand, but since he is only immortal, the creatures have no actual power to him, but he still makes them work. In return I am basically prince of the dead, meaning all the dead follow me. It's just like Percy. Most 《美人鱼》 bow to him calling him their prince. The dead call me their prince."

"Cool. Am I a princess of anything?" I asked jokingly.

"Nope. Sorry. But 你 are the only iris child to inherit Iris's power to shape shift. Thats good."

We walked for a long time and talked about lots of 随意 stuff.

"OK, we need to turn this way." We walked towards where Nico pointed, and we found a big gigantic ditch that was covered with iron bars like a jail cell. The air around us seemed go on edge and bring a weird mood. Sapphire began to shiver and I squeezed Nico's hand tighter.

"Where are we?" Sapphire asked.

"The pit of Tarterus." Nico answered with a cold stare into the pit. Something evil and full of hatred lurked in there. It was the reason I felt so depressed.

"OK....why don't we look for clues?" I suggested, breaking my hand away from Nico's. I walked towards the pit. But Nico held me back.

"Don't go towards it!! Keep your eyes closed!!" He yelled with wide eyes. He pulled me away and held me in his arms. I was confused, until I slightly opened my eyes and turned around.

The pit was exploding in a big red light and Sapphire was standing right in front of it. A dark voice yelled into the air saying words I didn't understand. I began to faint as I stared into the red light, starting to loose my thoughts. All I wanted to do was go enter the pit. A darkness filled my mind and I began to squirm away from Nico. I wanted to reach for the pit and the darkness inside, yet I knew that if I did, something would take over me. But it already was. Nico yelled out calling the voice away, holding me tighter, not letting me go. I closed my eyes and the darkness left my mind. Do NOT look into the dark light was all I thought.

I don't remember what happened next, but when I opened my eyes the light had gone, and so was Sapphire.

"Where's Sapphire?" I asked. Then I looked to the pit. On the edge of the pit, was Sapphire's backpack, and nothing else but the idea in my head that Sapphire had entered tarterus.
