We treaded water in silence for a minute, letting the truth soak in. Circe was trying to sabotage us from reaching Rose. Our quest had a superpowerful magical being against us. We might be dooming ourselves, along with Rose. I let my head drop in pure despair, and saw the water around me had turned red.
