Penguins 问题

Why Do We Know So Little About Penguins?

I mean, we study penguins but not hard enough. Juveniles must go somewhere out at sea to migrate but WHERE do they go exactly? Why do adult penguins think the juvenile's plumage is a threat to them? Why do we know so little about this bird's behaviour? We will probably never know unless, we can find the power to talk to the penguins!

Penguins 答案

Penguingirl said:
Well, we know so little about penguins because they are full of mystery and studing penguins in the wild is like studing a wild animal on Mars. But I can answer a few of your 问题 for you. When penguins are done with the breeding season, they go to sea to hunt for small fishes, squid and krill. But if they can't find their prey, they migrate to another location to find their hunting grounds. They then take off to the Indian Ocean where there is plenty of 食物 and 太空 for them to swim and play. To answer your other question, well when 企鹅 juveniles are ready to molt, they start to harass any 随意 adults to try to get fed 由 them. The juvenile birds are like teenagers and are really grumpy to the adult birds. Another reason is that the teen birds are in an individual adult bird's territorial spot. The adult bird warns the teen chicks to stay away from it's 太空 或者 the juveniles will get pecked for their lives. People may someday find a way to talk to the penguins but for now, lets just say that penguins have aways wanted to talk to us but had no way of doing so.
