Gio and Private were out in the park getting some snowcones and spending some time together. They felt like there would be no separating them.
When they got back to the HQ, though, they found that Skipper had a postcard in his flippers for Gio. Apparently, Gio was the only one in the group that knew how to read, so they didn't jump to any conclusions until she read it.
"Let me see that," Gio 说 to Skipper, who gave the postcard to her.
It had a picture of the Brookfield Zoo, her old home. When she was 阅读 it, her smile slowly turned into a frown.
"What does it say?" Private asked.
"It says, 'Dear Gio, how have 你 been? I know we've no longer been together because we didn't want to make it painful for both of us due to distance, but I really miss 你 a lot. I think 你 should come back home. It would mean a lot to me if 你 did. Think about the good times we had before 你 were transfered and the good times we might spend together again. I'm sure 你 might be in a relationship right now, but please think about the idea of coming back home. Love, Ang,'," Gio read.
"Who's this 'Ang'?" Skipper asked.
"My ex girlfriend back at Brookfield. She must really want me back home," Gio explained.
"You're not really considering leaving, are you, Gio?" Private asked.
Gio just gave a sigh and just became very overwhelmed.
"I need to think about it, Private," Gio 说 while hugging the youngest, then heading back outside.
Private wasn't his usual cheery, happy go lucky self like he usually is. He was actually worried about the possibility of Gio leaving and going back to Ang.
"Private, do 你 think maybe it's time that 你 told her, well, 你 know...?" Kowalski brought up.
"I don't know, Kowalski. I don't even know if and when she is going to be leaving," Private said.
"Well, 你 know, if I were you, I'd tell her right before she leaves," Skipper thought.
As Gio was outside, not only was she thinking about the good times she had with Ang back at the Brookfield Zoo, but she was also thinking about the good times she had with Private here in Central Park. They've been together for, she forgot how long now, and she can't stand the idea of leaving him. She had realized that she actually loved Private, but she doesn't even know if he feels that strongly about her in return. They say 首页 is where the 心 is, but she needs to find hers.
Private thought about the good times he had with Gio. He even thought about everything he'd miss about her. How her sweet voice would tickle his earholes, how soft the feathers on her head were, her charming, fun loving smile, the adorability that he enjoyed that was shockingly 更多 adorable than his own, everything.
The 下一个 day, Gio was packing her bags to see if she is doing the right thing. She didn't want Private to know because she's worried about upsetting the young penguin. As she was looking back at the HQ, she was getting close to leaving, but didn't even know that Skipper was watching her.
Later that evening, Skipper told Private what he just saw.
"Are 你 sure, Skipper?" Private asked.
"Yes, Private, she's on her way on the road as we speak!" Skipper mentioned.
Private was 更多 concerned, then thunder was heard outside.
"Sorry about that, that's just my emotional weather generator!" Kowalski called from his lab.
Private became very upset and was on his way outside.
"You do know it's raining, right?" Skipper asked.
"I don't care, Skipper, I need to find her and tell her how I feel!" Private 说 before he left.
Luckily, he found Gio nearly on the state border and managed to catch up to her.
"Gio, don't go!" Private called.
It didn't take too long for Gio to turn her head around and see Private.
"Private? What are 你 doing here?" Gio asked.
"I don't want 你 to go. I don't want 你 to have to go back to Ang. There's, there's something I need to tell you," Private 说 as he came closer.
"What is it, Private?" Gio asked.
"You see this rain? It shows how my eyes would react to your departure. Gio, I, I 爱情 you," Private managed to say.
Gio thought for a while. She realized she wasn't thinking too far from Private after all.
"Private, I 爱情 you, too," Gio 说 before he kissed her.
At that point, they both finally saw where their hearts were: with each other, where they belonged.

Dumb Kowalski's conversation with Skipper
Kowalski: Hi, I'm a penguin.
Skipper: Okay.
Kowalski: Are 你 a penguin?
Skipper: Yes.
Kowalski: Yay! We're sisters!
Skipper: We'd better go outside. It's almost feeding time.
Kowalski: I like feeding things!
Skipper: We are the ones that get fed.
Kowalski: I hate feeding time. Why can't we feed ourselves?
Skipper: 你 can.
Kowalski: Yay! I 爱情 lemurs!
Skipper: Fine. *goes up the ladder*
Kowalski: No, Skipper, don't leave me here alone, with all the monsters! *clings onto Skipper's foot like a toddler*
Skipper: Then 你 can come out with us.
Kowalski: Hooray for fish!
Skipper: *sigh*
