After everyone left the New Religion household, Carl asked, "Did 你 have a good birthday, Paul?" Paul said, "It was the best. I had no idea 你 were doing all this for me." Erin said, "We thought it would be nice to throw a surprise party for you, since you've never had one." Lola said, "Yeah. 你 really surprised me on my twenty-first birthday, Paul. I had to return the favor." Paul smiled at his mates, and they smiled back. He offered to help his mates clean up, but Erin insisted that he go on to bed. She said, "You look tired. I think 你 deserve a rest." Paul proceeded to get ready for bed. When he got into his bed, he was so exhausted that he fell asleep before his head hit the pillow. Erin, Carl, and Lola finished cleaning up, and they went to check on Paul. He was sound asleep, but he didn't have the covers on him. Erin gently covered him up so that he could stay warm. She then stroked his hair and whispered, "Good night, Paul." She quietly slipped out of the room with Carl and Lola. Lola said, "I think we should call it a night." Carl said, "I agree." Erin said, "I'm glad Paul had a good birthday." Lola said, "Me too." They then went to their beds for the night.

When Greeley's birthday finally arrived, Leila went to Greeley's house. When she knocked on the door, Greeley answered. He said, "Hi, Leila." She said, "Hi, Greeley. Happy eighteenth birthday." She then handed him a card. He said, "Thank you." When he opened the card, the 音乐会 tickets fell out. He said, "You got me 音乐会 tickets!" She said, "Yes, and not just any 音乐会 tickets. I got tickets to see New Religion. They're having an outdoor 音乐会 this evening." He said, "That's bloody amazing. Thank you, Leila." He hugged her. She said, "You're welcome, Greeley." After dinner, they had some cake. Greeley said, "This is the best birthday I've ever had." Leila said, "It's not over yet." He said, "You're right. We have a New Religion 音乐会 to go to." She said, "That's right. We better go if we want to get good parking." He said, "Right." The two 老友记 got into Greeley's car and headed to the concert.
