Everyone's gonna flip out on 你 for asking this. The general standpoint is that they just do it for the ladies.
However, it's my opinion that they're at least a little homosexual (bisexual) considering that they have put on their "act" when guest-type witnesses were lacking. I think they secretly enjoy it a bit...
This claim is based entirely off the anime. I have yet to read the manga. Please don't kill me, people. :)
In fandom they are but in reality(er officially) they both were atrracted to Haruhi. Their "brotherly love" is just an act for the girls. So no theye are not gay, they just act like it.
ok here is my answer....i read and watch all of the 日本漫画 and 日本动漫 and i can say that either they are going to be 或者 they already are because haruhi is with tamaki so yeah and both the twins hav kissed haruhi so that 幻想 is over. plus they did 吻乐队（Kiss） each other in the 日本漫画 so yeah and if ppl think otherwise.......... just dont agree. take it from someone whose focused on the lives of the twins....and feels they need to be gay too.
ok so im the 日本漫画 in like their character summaries they 说 kaoru was homosexual but in the actual 日本漫画 storyline he and hikaru both liked haruhi so i dont really sure but its most likely for the girls
