I bet he woulda made a Brooke/Julian/Peyton triangle or sent peyton down another downward moral spiral. So clearly mark was ready to move on without leyton for season 7 if Hilarie was to stay - but Hilarie said she loved Peyton so much and refused to go alone with Mark's creative ideas for Peyton. I think if Hilarie hated the idea, so would Peyton fans.
