My opinion : I love the episode, it's one of the best of season 8. BUT, I still admit that I wish Lucas and Peyton were there. Lucas cared about Brooke and Peyton was Brooke's best friend and that is no sens they weren't here. I don't blame the characters themselves but Mark for that.

so many things that pissed me of about this wedding (& i HATE saying this because I adored Brulian and their wedding as a wedding) but all the excuses Mark used about LP not being there was total cr**p ,so poorly written.

It's just so unrealistic. We all know Lucas and Peyton would absolutely be there for Brooke's wedding or Haley's mom's funeral, or to see Brooke's twins and Lydia. But I never blamed it on characters.

I mainly disagree because I don't think the Brulian wedding was perfect. But obviously, if they had to go through with the wedding, Lucas and Peyton should have been there.
