Just say you prefer them together because that means Peyton isn't with Lucas which means Lucas can be with Brooke, EVEN although it doesn't, both Lucas and Brooke have the good sense to know they don't work.

Let's make this clear...lucas loves peyton not brooke, brooke doesnt love lucas since high school (5 YEARS AGO), peyton loves lucas not julian cuz he was a rebound. Now, julian is going to have sometihng with brooke not peyton...yeah your beloved Pulian is not going to happen, BRULIAN is going to happen...ok???
Also, you can't say Julian is a better guy for Peyton because we only have seen him in 2 episodes and we don't know anything about him!!!
a) we don't know him
and
b) we (and by "we" i mean "i") have yet to figure out if he's even a good guy or not..! we (again .... read as "i") want the best for peyton and we (brucasers) know it's not lucas but we can't say it's julian! if he did something and terrible and truly, genuinely evil in the next episode we couldn't really justify ourselves if we were surprised ... because we just don't know him!

Hmm...i was just asking myself the same thing about PJ fans, lol! I guess i'll pass as a PJ fan too, but even i know there's nothing there that can pass LP.
I started liking Brucas after their first scene: Brooke in his back seat.
And its not just BL fans many many LP fans liked PJ.
Anways I think Jake is the best guy for Peyton but since he's not coming back then Juilian is deffff my second choice, and ofcourse I want BL but thats not the only reason I want PJ they were hot and had amazing chemistry.

i think it's funny that people who chose lucas and peyton are trying to come up with reasons for why someone who chose julian and peyton....i think it's time to realize that you can only explain your own choice, stop trying to explain why other people chose what they did. i am a brucas fan...but my feelings for leyton have nothing to do with being a brucas fan. im ok with brooke and lucas not being together- i love them when they are...but the way that lucas's character has changed- i think brooke is better off without him. so im fine with lucas being with someone else, and brooke being with someone else. i dont like lucas and peyton- purely because they are lucas and peyton- i dont see the passion, the love, the cuteness, or the desire i think a couple should have. to me they have as much passion as they would if they were talking to an inanimate object. and what i think has been lacking in lucas and peytons relationship since the beginning of first season....i saw in just a few flashbacks of julian and peytons relationship.
but honestly....if the rumors are true and brooke and julian get together...i think that could be sooo fun and sexy and cute. but im just skeptical of how that would work out since julian and peyton were in love. and i dont want to see julian with brooke unless he continues to be adorable and funny on the show, and worships brooke for the incredible woman she is.
and jake wasn't an option on this pick, so i had to go with luke anyways. eeeeven though i really hate him!
The only way Brucas can happen is if Peyton is out of the way. Until Peyton is in the picture, Brooke doesn't have the slightest chance. So Brucas fans prefer Julian so Lucas can be free. Where have I seen this seen? Oh yeah! That's right! It's what Brooke tried to do too. Hooking up Nathan & Peyton to have a chance with Lucas. Pathetic IMO.
