FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 10, 2009 – The One 树 爬坡道, 小山 Podcast (www.onetreehillpodcast.net) will begin airing an exclusive interview with Danneel Harris Monday, July 13, as Harris is set to reprise her role as Rachel Gatina on the seventh season of the CW drama One 树 Hill.
Harris returns to One 树 爬坡道, 小山 after over a 年 absence from the show. She teased that her character of Rachel’s new storyline is what drew her back to the Wilmington, N.C. area where One 树 爬坡道, 小山 is filmed.
“Mark Schwahn always planned on Rachel coming back, leaving her storyline open,” Harris said. “When Mark told me the new storyline for Rachel, I knew I had to come back. It is a chance for me to do something completely different.”
It was the storyline that drew Harris from her very busy schedule and finds her landing in Wilmington for a handful of One 树 爬坡道, 小山 episodes. She is currently balancing her time on One 树 爬坡道, 小山 with completing filming of “The Back-up Plan” in which she is a guest-star opposite Jennifer Lopez and Alex O’Laughlin (who was last seen playing Mick St. John in the CBS series Moonlight).
“I play the nemesis to Jennifer Lopez and that was interesting,” Harris admits. “My first 日 on set, my first scene, I had to call Jennifer’s character fat. It was like hi Ms. Lopez - superstar - I am just going to call 你 fat.”
Prior to Harris’ return to the One 树 爬坡道, 小山 set, she had appeared in 43 episodes. Her last appearance, prior to her return this season, came March 11 2008 in the episode “You’re Going to Need Someone on Your Side.”

Harris made her 树 爬坡道, 小山 debut as Brooke's high school nemesis in season 3 but wasn't made a series regular until season 4. She was written out in season 5 after only a handful of episodes, an apparent victim of the show's four-year flash forward.
In other 树 爬坡道, 小山 news, the last of 下一个 season's new contract roles has gone to Nuevo 90210 grad Jana Kramer. She'll play Alexis, a model who becomes the new face of Brooke's clothing line.
