"Are 你 sure?" Harry asked Alana taking a sip of his punch.
"Yes. Positive! What should I do?" Just 分钟 以前 Alana saw Daniel Jason, Lindsey's 日期 to Tanner Kingston's Spring Break party, 接吻 another girl.
"Well, there's nothing 你 can do! If Daniel is a true man, he will tell Lindsey."
"Oh, Are 你 a true man?" Alana shifted her weight.
"I would never cheat on a women, unless I was drunk and had no clue what I was doing, but besides that, never!" Alana smiled at Harry, "You are a freak."
"Well," Harry did his to-die-for hair slip, "Thank you." Lindsey walked over to them her hair messed up and a shoe broken, "Can we go?" She asked trying to hold back tears.
"Of course," Alana wrapped her arms around Lindsey and tried to help her walk.
"What happened?" Alana sat down on the 长椅, 沙发 where Lindsey was sitting.
"Me and that girl got into a fight." Lindsey had on Alana's 'You Mad Bro?' 衬衫 on and the black Hollister sweat pants that Alana got from the mall a few days ago.
"What girl?" Alana pulled down her shirt, that had a big teddy 熊 in the middle of it.
"The girl that was 接吻 Daniel. I know 你 saw, too."
"I did. I didn't want to hurt you."
"Well," Lindsey snickered, "I got hurt anyways. 你 where right, Daniel is a total.. dick." Lindsey never curses, and when she does 你 know she's mad.
"It will be okay."
Lindsey smiled, "Let's have a movie night!"
Alana smiled hearing that her friend is back to normal, "Okay."
"Alana, 你 know 你 have to work harder then the other kids!" Mrs. Coleman 说 holding onto Alana's English test. It was Wednesday, March 24 and Alana just got back from school with her test grade from English class. F,
"Mom, I know! I try so hard."
"Well, start trying harder," Mrs. Coleman slammed the paper on the 表 and marched out the kitchen.
"Damn it." Alana whispered. She heard the front door open.
"I tried out for the Talent Show!" Harry yelled running into the kitchen, "And made it!" He grabbed Alana and spun her around.
"What?!" Alana yelled as Harry put her on the ground.
"I made the Talent Show!"
"Why didn't 你 tell me?"
"I wanted it to be a surprise. So, surprise!" Harry did the 'Jazz-Hands'.
"When is the Talent Show?" Alana sat back down on the kitchen's bar stool.
"Friday!" Harry sat 下一个 to her on the other bar stool.
"Are 你 going to come watch me perform?"
"Of course!"
Jesse walked in talking on the phone. He looked towards Alana and Harry then walked outside, "He has been 表演 really strange lately." Alana sighed.
Friday came so fast, it's like Thursday didn't even exist.
"Your next!" Gemma whispered to Harry, "Don't be nervous!"
Harry sighed squeezing onto the mic. On stage a kid that was play the trumpet stood and bowed, almost no one cheered. They called Harry on stage and he walked onto the stage. Harry put the mic to his lips, "Hello! I'm Harry Styles and I will be singing, 'Never Say Never,' 由 the Fray." Silents. The whole crowd was silent as Harry opened his mouth and sang.
"You did amazing!" Alana hugged Harry.
"Thank you, It felt amazing 唱歌 in-front of people."
"Maybe 你 could make that a everyday thing." A guy in a suit walked over to them, "I'm John McClain and I work for the X-Factor. I go around the world and find people that I think can do it, and you. 你 can." He handed Harry a little card and walked away.
"Think 你 got what it takes for X-Factor? Call.." Harry read out loud, "I think I'll call tomorrow!"
Alana sat 由 Gemma and Jesse, Harry was across from her. They where eating at La Bec, a fancy restaurant that puts your leftovers in a foil 天鹅 -a little too fancy for Alana.
"So Harry are 你 going to try out?" Gemma asked pushing her carrots around her plate with a fork.
"Why not? That guy says I could make it."
"Well, 你 are a really good singer." Alana 说 taking a sip of her tea. Harry blushed and looked away.
"We're off to see the wizard! The wonderful wizard of OZ!" Harry, Gemma, and Alana sang running out of the house and into the car. For weeks, all Alana and Harry did was get Harry ready to audition for the X-Factor, and now, there on there way.
