She's had plenty of chances to let her acting abilities shine, especially in "The Garden of Forking Paths" and "Pretty in Blue" that are centered around her, and she is NOT proven herself to be a good actress. She's always talking in such a whiny voice (It's not the accent, it's her lack of talent) and sounds like she's complaining like a five-year-old all the time no matter, she's so wooden in her facial expressions and gestures, she always has the same facial expression, lacks charm and charisma, has poor diction, and it's not just her role as Jacinda but she's like this in Devious Maids and from the clips I've seen in Heroes too. I also saw her in X-Men: The Last Stand, which definitely showed she couldn't act. I wanted to like her because when she's not sounding so whiny I like her accent and I wanted to be invested in a Cinderella that was a woman of color as well as involved in an interracial romance but her acting sucks. It's also probably one of the reasons I can't get invested in the romance between Jacinda and Henry, because her terrible acting is affecting the believable chemistry. The only thing she has going on for her is that she easy on the eyes because she is gorgeous and sexy. She should just quit acting and become a model.

She's alright. Like she isn't the worst but she hasn't particularly captured me.

She's so subpar. I definitely agree that her facial expressions are extremely limited (she has about two alternating facial expressions, maybe three if it's a good day), she lacks charm and charisma, and her diction is poor.
I miss seeing Jessy Schram on my TV screen. She could actually act.
