Emma broke the curse in the season one finale by telling Henry that she loved him. She brought him back to life and everyone’s memories returned. It was truly magical.

Regina thought her true love was Daniel, but she was mistaken. She may have loved Daniel, but her soulmate will always be Robin. They’ve been through a lot, but they always seem to find their way back to each other.

In a twist no one saw coming, Hook turned out to be the Dark One as well. In order to protect Emma, he had to die. In one of the most devastating scenes ever, Emma killed Hook. But he died a hero. It was absolutely heartbreaking. Hook was taken to the Underworld, and Emma vowed to find him.

Snow may have had a change of heart at the last minute, but she still sort of killed Cora. Cora’s death happened right at the precise moment Regina let her mom truly love her.

In season two, Regina ripped out Snow’s heart, but it only was after Snow begged her. Snow was feeling super guilty after killing Cora, but Regina refused to put her out of her misery. Good thing Regina didn’t give in!
