I think Maleficent and Aurora's mother were either best 老友记 或者 sisters and something might have happened between them. Maybe they were both in 爱情 with Aurora's father and because he choose her mother Maleficent got angry. It would be logic but we'll have to wait and see.

I'm really curious to see why Mal hates them so much. It seems like a longterm personal vendetta. But as long as her reason is different from Gina's I'll be happy.
