缪斯 is looking for a few lucky 粉丝 to sit in on the final dress rehearsal for the 显示 on Friday February 26. As amazing as that may be, it gets better. 缪斯 recently hit the road in Australia, performing a cover with Nic Cester of Jet each night of one of their 最喜爱的 songs, AC/DC’s “Back in Black” (Video below). Now they want to do that song with you. Yes, its live band karaoke with the biggest band in the world backing 你 up.
Interested? Of course 你 are. Here’s what 你 gotta do:
1. Record a video of 你 唱歌 “Back in Black”. Creativity is encouraged but not necessary.
2. 上传 the video to YouTube and send the link to contests@99X.com with “MUSE” in the subject. Deadline for 视频 is 12noon on Wednesday February 24th.
3. We'll select ten finalists. Thursday the 25th the finalists will head to Wild Wing Cafe Alpharetta, where we'll have a live band backing 你 up as 你 try to impress our 音乐 professional judges with your rendition. One grand prize winner will be rocking out Friday night with 缪斯 as their backup band. If 你 don't get picked as a finalist, we will pull a few people from the WWC crowd to give it a shot too.
