Tom Cruise famously loves to do all -- 或者 almost all -- of his own stunts. The official reason for this, as his spokesperson put it, is that "the audience believes 更多 in his character." Another reason is that Tom Cruise is a little crazy. Sometimes he's crazy in an uncomfortable way, like when he's couch-jumping on "Oprah." But sometimes he's crazy in a pretty awesome way.

Cruise is currently filming Brad Bird's "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol," and a major scene takes place in Dubai, with Cruise's character rappelling up and down the Burj Kahlifa, the world's tallest building. 照片 of Cruise doing this particularly impressive stunt have already surfaced, but tourist Daniel Matthew, visiting the Burj Kahlifa, may have taken the best one. While looking out the window, Matthew watched as Cruise rappelled right past him. He even waved.
