Michelle Rodriguez has joined Donald Sutherland as one of the stars of the upcoming film adaptation of
, based on the children's novel by Eckhart Tolle and Robert Friedman.
Rodriguez will play a school teacher lifting the spirits of the film's central character, Milton, a young boy played by William Ainscough, who is bullied by fellow students. Sutherland will play Milton's grandfather, who helps the young boy discover that his obsession with his preteen fears will prevent him from finding true happiness.
