Michael receive 2 awards for outstanding career achievements in the field of entertainment. This is also where the 标题 "The King of Pop" was created, when Elizabeth Taylor declares Michael, “The true King of Pop, Rock and Soul”.
Michael receives a honorary degree from Fisk 大学 for his generosity towards educating the poor. In 1986, he established a 1.5 million dollar scholarship fund that renews every 年 so that future generations can have a chance at education.
