It was a chilly afternoon. I was sitting down on the cold sidewalk alone in front of my house. The wind blew my brown hair in my face, which made me constatntly push it away. The cold breeze would hit my skin making me shiver a little bit. I should've listened to my Mom when she told me to take a 夹克 with me, but, as usual, I didn't. I took a yellow chalk stick out of the box in front of me. It was half-used. I got on my knees and wrote my name on the concrete, "G-E-N-E-S-I-S" I would say to myself as I wrote my name. When I dotted my "I" with a 心 the chalk broke into pieces. "Aww come on..." I whispered. I got up off of my knees and dusted off the dirt that was on my jeans. I left the box on the sidewalk hoping nobody will take it. I ran into my house washing my hands because the chalk got all over my fingers.
Without thinking, I ran back outside. While I was running the wind blew in my face causing me to shut my eyes. Since I couldn't see anything , I accidently bumped into someone else who was walking on the sidewalk. We both fell to the floor making a loud thump! I slowly opened my hazel eyes and looked up at who I ran into. Oh my gosh.....could it be.....Michael Jackson? He had big beautiful brown eyes, a nice and fluffy afro, dark mocha brown skin, and his smile is brighter than a thousand suns. My jaw dropped at the sight of him. He slowly got up off the ground and picked up the stuff he dropped. He dusted himself off and put his hand out so I can get up off the ground. I looked at him with bright eyes. He smiled at me. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up. I dusted myself off and smiled at him,"Thanks. Oh and im really sorry! I didn't see 你 walking!" He giggled a bit,"No its okay. It really is. No need to be sorry."
My stomach was filled with 蝴蝶 inside, I was so nervous just standing 下一个 to him. I knew he was famous and all, but I really wanted to act normal around him. Suddenly, I got the urge to ask him a simple question. "What are 你 doing walking all alone? I mean some fangirl can see 你 walking and tackle you!" He laughed a little bit,"Well my brothers are over there in the studio," He pointed over to the huge building at the corner of the block. "And they wanted me to go over to the house and bring some extra microphones." I looked both ways,"Oh well where do 你 live?" He looked down the block,"Over there in that Mansion." My eyes widened,"You're serious!?!" He looked at me dead in the eyes,"Yeah." "Wow...." He looked at the concrete ground for a 秒 but quickly looked up,"Oh 嘿 I forgot to ask, whats your name?" I smiled,"Genesis. Genesis Night." His eyes sparkled. They looked like they were filled with diamonds,"What a nice name. My name is Michael-" I cut him off,"Jackson?" He giggled,"Haha yeah." We both stared at each other for a 秒 或者 two. "You know you're the first girl that i've met that hasn't went crazy in my prescence....I like that about you." My cheeks turned bright red. I was as red as an apple, "Well you're the first boy that i've met that is very polite."
We both started to laugh like two wild hyenas in a zoo. "Hey Michael?" He looked up at me,"Yeah?" "How old are you? And tell the truth." He looked a little confused,"Im 14 years old, but Motown makes me lie stating that im 12 years old." "Really? Im 13 years old..." He took a glance at his 金牌 watch and gasped,"Oh no! Joseph is gonna be mad!" I had a worry look on my face,"What is it?" He started to talk so fast I couldn't really understand him,"I-I gotta go! Im sorry! Look 你 can come over my house whenever 你 want okay. I'll tell the guards that you're allowed inside!" He quickly waved at me and ran down the block. My hair blew in my face,"Bye...." I slowly walked over to the box I left lying around on the sidewalk. I went on my knees picking up the box and stood up off the ground. "Well I wouldn't be needing this anymore..." I sighed. I walked inside my house and shut the door. My mom walked over to me wiping vegetable oil off her hands with a towel. For some reason she had a smile on her face,"Was that Michael Jackson outside? 你 were talking to him?" I smirked,"Y-yeah." She saw that sparkle in my eyes,"You like him don't you?" I walked over to the 长椅, 沙发 and looked at her,"Well....." I folded my arms and smiled,"Kinda..." She smiled in delight,"Haha I knew it, well he is a nice boy." She walked back into the kitchen. I sat down on the living room couch,"He is isn't he...."
