From a guys point of view:

We don't care if 你 talk to other guys.

We don't care if you're 老友记 with other guys.

But when you're sitting 下一个 to us, and some 随意 guy walks into the room
and 你 jump up and tackle him without even introducing us, yeah.

It doesn't help if 你 sit there and talk to him for ten 分钟 with out
 even acknowledging the fact that we're still there.

We don't care if a guy calls you, but at 2 in the morning we do get a 
little concerned.
