I met Leslie in 2005 when he co-hosted a big fundraiser here in Vancouver. I was in Cambodia when I heard on BBC of his sad passing. They gave him a short but wonderful farewell. Leslie was a funny, hard working and compassionate man who was a good friend to Odd Squad. He will be missed all over the world, but most dearly I am sure, in his wife's heart.
