We’ve never even seen the actual Doris in the show, at least not yet. I’ve come to accept that maybe (that’s a maybe, not an absolute) Skipper and Marlene have some degree of feelings for each other, but as for Kowalski and Doris, let’s just have them stick to being friends.

Also of note, just because Kowalski seemed to show some affection for Doris in the “Gone in a Flash” episode (the only episode she’s so far mentioned in), it doesn’t mean he really loves her. Let’s not forget that Kowalski also briefly fell in love with Officer X’s van in the episode “What Goes Around.”

..I think Kowalski and Doris should stick to friendship. I mean, there shoud be a new character or something, or that Kowalski should fall in love with someone else. Besides, I agree with SJF_Penguin. We haven't even seen Doris yet,[and I'm beginning to think that we never will;it seems like it was just something funny to add to the episode]and I'm not sure if Kowalski actually loved her, because she's never mentioned again. I do hope that he falls in "like" again. First Doris, then that van..next thing you know it'll be a human. ^^

If we got to know Doris then I would probably say yes. But as previously stated by SJF and PenguinCrazy, we have yet to meet Doris. We don't know what she's like yet. She may be perfect for Kowalski, or terrible for him. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I saw Doris' picture in the first episode Gone In A Flash!!! he was drinking private's love smoothie and looking at doris' picture!!! :)

Doris has never even been shown excapt for in a picture one time in Gone in a Flash.

Even tho Doris has been mentioned seldomly and only been shown in a small picture frame, they should GO OUT ALREADY!!!

If you look at Kowalski from Gone in a Flash, he looks like he rllllly wants to go see Doris!!

And when they made the new episode Driven to the Brink,
Skipper says,
"No... no Doris... Kowalski must never know.."
They cant leave a statement like that out in the open without backup (such as new ep.)!!! >_<

I would love to see what happened in the poem he wrote. They swam together flipper to flipper and she left him for someone hipper... LOL I think she's such a character they love to mention to tease people but never actually show. Like Sheridan in Keeping up Appearances for example.

Well, I think Doris & Kowalski should be friends, but they should at least show them go on a date at least once if they did that for Skipper & Kitka...they should do that for Kowalski too.

If they did go out and Doris breaks his heart, I will personally deal with her. Then I will comfort Kowalski, so that he is happy again. And I would NEVER break his heart.
