Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and her husband, Ryan Sweeting, have decided to call it quits.

Kaley\'s rep spoke to People magazine on Sep. 25, stating: "Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage. They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter."

Despite only knowing each other for a short time, "The Big Bang Theory" star and her tennis player beau got engaged three months after their first date. They later tied the knot three months later, in a secret New Year\'s Eve ceremony on Dec. 31, 2013.

The couple frequently had to spend time apart due to their busy schedules, which ramped up speculation that there may have been a rift. Rumors swirled that the couple might have been having trouble earlier in 2015, but Kaley quickly took to Instagram to shut them down.

Attaching a lengthy paragraph to a photo of Ryan in April, Kaley wrote: "I have never been more proud of anyone on this planet – this guy is fighting back from a whirlwind of injuries and not to mention constant \'conversation\' regarding our marriage and basically any daily decision we decide to make. I\'m so proud of his passion and his inner strength to fight back, but most of all I am proud to be his wife -- so all of you who take it upon yourselves to trash our marriage, daily workings of our relationship and everything in between, go ahead and keep doing it, cause it only makes us stronger. If you were smart, you would take a look at your own marriage, relationship, job etc., instead of focusing on someone else\'s. You might be surprised at what you find."

The actress ended her rant with the quote, "You know my name, not my story."

And earlier that same month she shared a photo of the two kissing each other\'s cheeks, along with the caption, "We are totally getting divorced, can\'t you tell!!?! 4 weeks apart and finally reunited-I missed this guy more than anything!! #rumors #notpregnant #totallymarried."

Both photos no longer appear on the star\'s Instagram.
